Debra Cohen's journey has been extraordinary. From a New Wave rocker in Boston, opening for Joan Jett at The Rat, to studying the Bible in Israel and converting to Judaism, her path has been diverse. After a stint as a public ESOL school teacher, she left due to PTSD and pursued healing through aromatherapy. In Texas, she met her husband at 62 while living as a full-time RVer. Debra returned to music as a DIY indie artist and producer, sharing her work at DebraCohenMusic.com. In 2024, she also became a non-fiction author, yet music remains her lifeline.
